Over the years, Michael has seen the web evolve. Platforms like Joomla once held promise, but when they failed to keep pace with modern needs, he and his team made a bold shift to Statamic. It wasn’t just a technical decision, it was a statement of values: modern architecture, flexibility, and freedom for clients without drowning them in plugins. He calls it supervised creative – giving clients the space to play with their content while still ensuring their brand identity shines.

But Michael is not just about business. He has a deep sense of community. In his neighbourhood he walks the streets of Hamilton Hill, reflecting on ideas and looking for ways to bring people together. He joined the Woodforde Resident Association and even offered to help run local community groups online. For him, connection is as important offline as it is on a website.

At home in Adelaide, Michael enjoys life with a terrace that soaks up the western sun, a solar-powered home, and an office tucked beneath it. He balances his professional work with his love of cooking and baking, returning often to the skills he honed in kitchens years ago.
